The Loxley Library is located at the intersection of Loxley Avenue and Highway 59. The library collection includes: Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, Adult Large Print, Adult Audiobooks, Adult Biography, Adult Reference, Adult DVD and Blu-ray, Young Adult Fiction, Young Adult Nonfiction, Juvenile Fiction, Juvenile Nonfiction, Juvenile Biography, Chapter Books, Easy Readers, Picture Books, Board Books, and Children’s DVD and Blu-ray. The library has computers with internet availability for adult use and two computers in the children’s area. Wi-fi is also available. Our patrons have access to materials in all libraries within Baldwin County through baldwincat.org or baldwintlcdelivers.com. and access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines through Camellia.overdrive.com. Additionally, our patrons have access to Ancestry Library Edition, which is for in-library use only. Please contact us for current programs.
To obtain a library card at Loxley Library, please present your driver’s license (or photo I.D.) and a piece of mail with current address. Children under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian present to be issued a card.
